The listed company INDUS Holding AG is strengthening its Engineering segment with a further add-on acquisition: Pneumatic Components Ltd (PCL), a subsidiary of INDUS portfolio company HORNGROUP, is buying 100% of the shares in COLSON X-Cel Ltd.
The financial year 2023 saw the portfolio companies of INDUS Holding AG grow their operating income (EBIT) to EUR 149.6 million (previous year: EUR 133.7 million) in what was a challenging market. Sales remained stable at EUR 1.80 billion (previous year: EUR 1.80 billion). The EBIT margin rose to 8.3% (previous year: 7.4%). In addition to a good operating performance, lower impairment losses than in the previous year totaling EUR 19.3 million (previous year: EUR 42.8 million) had a positive effect. Adjusted EBITA, i.e. operating income (EBIT) plus PPA depreciation and impairments, stood at EUR 188.1 million (previous year: EUR 194.3 million). PPA depreciation totaled EUR 19.2 million (previous year: EUR 17.8 million).
Bergisch Gladbach, 21 February 2024 – Today, the Board of Management of INDUS Holding resolved, with the approval of the Supervisory Board, to launch a public buyback offer to shareholders of INDUS Holding AG for up to 1,100,000 no-par value bearer shares of INDUS Holding AG (ISIN DE0006200108) at a price of EUR 23.00 per share.
Bergisch Gladbach, 23rd February 2023 – Based on the PARKOUR perform strategy update published in December 2022 and the related discontinuation of the previous Automotive Technology segment, INDUS Holding AG reclassified the three portfolio companies SCHÄFER, SELZER and SMA from the Automotive Technology segment to discontinued operations.
Bergisch Gladbach, 24 October 2022 – As INDUS Holding AG (“INDUS”) had already reported on September 23, 2022, its portfolio company S.M.A. Metalltechnik GmbH & Co. KG (“SMA”) – a series supplier to the automotive industry – has been conducting intensive negotiations with its major customers on an adjustment of the existing supply contracts. SMA did not succeed in achieving the necessary adjustments to the existing supply contracts.
