The two new investments at INDUS
Our Annual Shareholders Meeting this year was once again held as a virtual event on 26 May 2021. We streamed the event onto your screens from the Rheinsaal at the Cologne Trade Fair. A nice opportunity to introduce our two new investments in more detail to you.
Jungmann Systemtechnik GmbH & Co. KG
Most of you already know JST, but now you can also experience our innovative addition to the engineering segment in sound and vision. We are pleased to be able to present the specialist in the field of control room solutions to you once again in more detail here:
WIRUS Fenster GmbH & Co. KG
Just a few weeks ago, we welcomed WIRUS to the INDUS Group as an addition to our successful Construction/Infrastructure segment. Based in Rietberg-Mastholte, WIRUS Fenster GmbH & Co. KG is a full-range supplier that manufactures around 125,000 windows and 10,000 entrance doors made of plastic and aluminum every year.
The high degree of digitalization enables the networking of the entire supply chain, LEAN manufacturing and just-in-time delivery without intermediate storage. The resulting speed in processing and manufacturing as well as in quotation and order processing enshures extremely short delivery times. A great unique selling point!
But that is not the only reason why WIRUS is so special. High value is attached to state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies, craftsmanship and the careful selection of materials, thus ensuring the high quality of the products. You are welcome to see for yourself here:
Sustainability is also an issue at WIRUS, as all components of the windows can be 100% recycled. All materials used in production are properly disposed of and processed for recycling. A cycle can be repeated up to seven times without affecting raw material and processing quality.
With JST and WIRUS, we have two new additions to our group that are entirely to our taste. We will certainly have a lot of joy with these two companies in the future. Hopefully, you will also enjoy the stories that arise from their cooperation!
For the rest of the year we hope to be able to introduce you to more great companies as part of the INDUS Group. The chances of this are good!
Speaking of opportunities: Next year, we hope to be standing face to face again over a cup of coffee in the CC-Nord at the Cologne Trade Fair, exchanging stories about the past months!

Dr. Johannes Schmidt studied applied mathematics and obtained his doctorate for Dr.-Ing. in the department of mechanics. He has been a member of the Board of Management of Indus since 2006 and has taken over the chairmanship of the Executive Board by July 1, 2018.
